In Komi mythology is this wise tale - Komi shaman Dane Eprom (Ephrem Danilovich) was attacked by a gang of criminals. As soon as Dane Eprom had thrown his knife into the river, the gangsters choked down water into their lungs, suffocated, and got drowned in invisible waters. This happened while they were standing on dry land.

Aggressivenes leads to aggressiveness, while gentleness is powerful to overcome aggressiveness. By practicing peace, we spread peace.
When hurt by someone, even if unable to communicate with them or trust them again, still speak blessing upon them. Never hold within yourself aggressiveness toward any creature.
Be gentle within yourself, and toward yourself, and walk this earth as a being of peace. That is the way of a truly Christlike person.
The Jesus of the Christian Gospels says, “I am gentle of spirit.” Let us pray to be gentle in thought, act, and word.
